There are indications that controversial Nollywood actress, Laide
Bakare may not return to Nigeria anytime soon. She is presently in the
United States of America (USA), where she was reported to have run to
after officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
seized a boutique opened for her by her new husband, Tunde Orilowo.
The
EFCC declared the actress’ husband wanted and the man was also reported
to have fled abroad to escape being apprehended by the anti-graft
agency. The man was accused of duping telecoms giant, MTN in amount
running into billions of Naira. Some of his known properties in Lagos
have also been seized by EFCC.
Latest information gathered by
Gistmania indicates that the sultry actress is presently pregnant and
might wait till after her child delivery before even thinking of
returning home.
According to reports, Laide Bakare would be
having a shower party on Friday, October 10, 2014 and would also use the
day to celebrate her birthday. She precisely added another year on
Tuesday, October 7, 2014, but has slated Friday for the double
celebration.
Laide Bakare had her first child for her former husband, Tunde Okufulire before having her second for her new husband in 2013.
