Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted together at the Sydney
Premier of Unbroken, which represents their first attendance at an event
since becoming husband and wife. Angelina was looking amazingly slim
and stunned the crowd in an exquisitely designed white and lace Gucci
fish-tail dress while Pitt complemented her in a classic black suit.
Jolie
was full of emotions as she narrated how the film’s protagonist Louis
Zamperini, endured brutal treatment by the enemy during World War 2. “I
needed desperately to know a man like Louis Zamperini in my life, to
know that there is hope, and with all that we’re challenged with today
internationally, and with all the pain and death in the world, that the
strength of the human spirit, the strength of a strong heart is
valuable,” Jolie said.
Unbroken is an war drama movie that was
produced and directed by Angelina Jolie and based on the 2010 nonfiction
book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival,
Resilience, and Redemption. The movie revolves around the life of
Olympic athlete Louis “Louie” Zamperini (1917–2014), and stars Jack
O’Connell, Garrett Hedlund, and Domhnall Gleeson.
