Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that midfielder
Mohammed Diame will be ruled out for not less than two weeks with a
niggling knee problem.
The Senegal international was forced off early into Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Everton with an ongoing tendon problem.
Diame missed the club’s home defeat by Tottenham Hotspur with an irritation of the patella tendon and returned for last weekend’s 2-1 loss at Manchester United before limping out at Goodison Park in the midweek.
He has scored four goals in 11 Premier League appearances for ‘The Tigers.’
Diame will miss Saturday’s clash with West Bromwich Albion at the KC Stadium.
