
According to early results released by the Independent National Electorial Commission (INEC), APC Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has defeated Goodluck Jonathan in some states.
Buhari beats Jonathan in Ogun, Kwara, Kogi, Jigawa, Ondo, Osun and Kano States.
According to INEC, Buhari won 1,903,999 votes in Kano to beat Jonathan who won 215,779.
INEC Collation officer, Adikwu Michael announced that Buhari polled 264, 851 votes out of 439, 287 in Kogi state, while Jonathan won 149, 987 vites.
APC presidential candidate won in 15 of the 21 LGAs of the state while GEJ won in 6 LGAs.
In Jigawa State, INEC returning officer, James Ayasta announced that Buhari garnered a total of 885, 988 votes while Jonathan won 143, 904 votes.
Buhari also beat Jonathan in Aso Rock, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
More results are still coming in and the official announcement of who becomes President-elect will be made by INEC later today, March 30.
