During its meeting the campaigners also questioned the news about the notorious leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abu Mojahid, who was supposedly killed in Alagarno forest by the Nigerian army.
Manasseh Allen, one of the group members asked why more information was not given about the said commander.
He said: “Who is Abu Mojahid? Every fighter of Boko Haram is Mojahid. Who is he? Which village did he come from? Why were we not given all these information? What type of narrative are they bringing out for people to swallow?

Abducted school girls around Sambisa Forest, there are about nine villages which means that there are many places through which one can enter the forest and there was no single soldier there for the past months. So, why this narrative about Sambisa Forest? I don’t believe anything coming out from there. We need more information about soldiers that were lost and other things concerning the operation,” he said.
Allen who also spoke about the many suspects that have been detained who are supposedly linked with the Boko Haram sect, doubted if there is any news that has been collected from those suspects and their whereabouts.
He said: “Many people were arrested who they claimed have connection with Boko Haram sect. Many people that carried the intelligence of Boko Haram and the Chibok girls. No one is saying anything about them. Until we begin to ask questions, we are going nowhere. Our problem is in this country. When something happens, we rave about it, and within few days, we stop”.
Maj-Gen. Chris Olukolade had disclosed that a notorious commander of the Boko Haram sect, Abu Mojahid, was killed by troops in an operation in Alagarno Forest.
As was reported yesterday, Nigerian army with warplanes attacked the Sambisa forest in an attempt to rescue the Chibok girls, who were abducted a year ago, and to finally overcome Boko Haram’s six-year-old terrorism.
The operation is still on-going, but no success has been recorded.
Meanwhile, the terrorists have run out of arms and ammunition.
