A suicide bomber driving a commercial tricycle has killed three persons
and injured three others this morning in Maiduguri, Borno State.
According to a witness, the explosion occurred at about 7.10am when
motor parks in the town were full of activities as travellers were out
in their numbers to join commuter buses out of town.
The witness said, the tricyclist waited for a loaded bus to come out of
the garage and then gave him a chase, but luckily didn’t meet up with
it. About a kilometer away, it exploded and killed three passers-by on
the highway and left another three injured. Four people died including
the bomber, the witness, Yusuf Adamu said.
