ALGIERS- Algeria has been unfailing in its contribution in favour of Mali, said Wednesday in Algiers the Amenokal of Ifoghas, Mohamed Agh Intala, underlining that the Algerian authorities have always accompanied Mali to achieve a resolution to the crisis.
“Algeria has been unfailing in its contribution in favour of Mali and has always accompanied Mali to achieve a resolution to its issues,” said Agh Intala at the end of his talks with Secretary General of Foreign Affairs Ministry Abdelhamid Senouci Bereksi.
On this occasion, he hailed the role of Algeria and President Bouteflika in the resolution of the Malian crisis, culminating in the inking, by all the Malian sides, of the agreement of peace and reconciliation in Mali, on 20 June in Bamako, stemming from the process of Algiers.
“We hail Algeria, the leading mediator, for its role and efforts to help Mali through particularly the signing of the peace agreement, putting an end to the confrontations between the Malian sides.”
