CONSTANTINE (Algeria)- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal on Thursday stressed the importance of the unity and cohesion that govern the actions of the cabinet, "under a single authority, that of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika."
"There is no division and no problem within the government which is working under a single authority, that of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika," Sellal said in a press briefing on the sidelines of an inspection and working visit to Constantine (431-km east of Algiers), marking the National Mujahid Day.
The government's major challenge is to build a strong national economy, and this is our programme's goal, he underlined.
"It is out of question that Algerian citizens go through pauperization again."
The premier announced that a meeting bringing together government members and province governors will be held on August 29.
The meeting is aimed at "creating new development opportunities for national economy and opening on investment."
