ALGIERS-Tunisian Secretary of State to Minister of Social Affairs in charge of the martyrs and wounded of the revolution Majdouline Cherni Tuesday hailed the Algerian experience in the care of families of mujahedeen (veterans) and chouhada (martyrs) and rights-holders.
Cherni said after his meeting with Minister of Mujahedeen Tayeb Zitouni her visit to Algeria was meant to "benefit the Algerian experience in support of the families of martyrs, veterans and rights-holders, dubbing it "very rewarding."
Recalling that bilateral relations between Algeria and Tunisia are "historic and strong", the Tunisian official said she had chosen Algeria for her first official visit because of the "richness of the Algerian experience" in the field.
For his part, the Minister of Mujahedeen said the Tunisian official's visit to Algeria takes place part of the "implementation of the recommendations of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika and his counterpart Beji Caid Essebci to strengthen bilateral relations between Algeria and Tunisia."
He added that this visit will be followed by another visit of specialists in the care of families of mujahedeen (veterans) and chouhada (martyrs) and rights-holders for the exchange of experience while retreating "Algeria's support to Tunisia."
