Mina stampede: Death toll of Algerian hajjis rises to 43
ALGIERS- The number of the Algerian hajjis who died in Mina stampede in Mecca rose to 43, according to a new report released Monday by Foreign Ministry.
The ministry has also reported that four injured hajjis are still hospitalized while 6 others are still missing.
The Foreign Ministry ensures that the list of the hajjis who are died, hospitalized or missing is available at the Ministry’s emergency unit.

The Foreign Ministry's emergency committee, in coordination with that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Waqfs, "continues to monitor the consequences of Mina stampede on our hajjis, in permanent contact with the consul general and members of hajj mission," said the statement.
"The ministry calls for the serenity of all, especially the various media in order not to increase the pain of the families, especially as the information provided by the emergency unit stem from official and credible sources," the Ministry said, adding that this unit "is in regular contact with the victims’ families, especially those whose parents are missing have been received at the Ministry."
"While offering condolences to the families of the deceased and wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured, the ministry recalls that it remains available to provide answers to the families affected by this tragedy," the statement added.
