Nollywood Actress, Omotola Ekeinde to Take Over Coockie Lyon's Role in Empire? (Watch)

There had been rumours online and social media that top Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde might be getting a feature in the popular hit US television show, "Empire", she has now responded. 


 
Multi award winning Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has responded humorously to the rumours that she's auditioning for FOX hit series "Empire."
 
During a press conference in Ghana, the actress who celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday in the country was asked about rumours circulating in the United States that she's auditioning for a role in Fox's hit show "Empire."
 
"How do you respond to rumours that you're auditioning for a role in one of TV's biggest shows?," a reported asked the actress. Laughing it off, the actress give the perfect response.
 
"Is that a rumour in Ghana? Oh U.S? Maybe they want me to be in Empire," the actress asked. "But then they would have to remove Taraji, because I'm a diva, I can't share space with her," she added.
 
'Empire' is a TV series that revolves around Hip-hop artist and CEO of Empire Entertainment, Lucious Lyon, and his family. The series stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, Grace Gealey, Ta’Rhonda Jones, Kaitlin Doubleday, Bryshere Y. Gray among others.
