Osinbajo's Tenure As Acting President Ends As President Buhari Resumes Work After Short Vacation

After a few days off work as President of the world's most populous black nation, President Buhari has resumed presidential activities.

President Muhammadu Buhari has resumed work in Abuja after a short vacation.

 

This was made known in a statement issued by the Senior Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu via his twitter account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adesina said,"President @MBuhari today (11/02/2016), resumed work at State House in Abuja after a 6-day vacation.

 

“In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has since sent a formal notice of his resumption to the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

"President @MBuhari was on vacation from February 5th, 2016 to February 10th, 2016."

 

It would be recalled that President Buhari went on vacation on February 5 and expected to resume on February 11, 2016.
