As Goodluck Jonathan prepares to pick his nomination form for
2015 presidential elections today, October 30, it has been learnt that
several Nigerian groups have donated the total of N98.66 million to
support his move.
President’s spokesperson, Dr. Reuben Abati, made this known yesterday in Abuja saying that the money was the
donations from Nigerians to assist Jonathan with paying for presidential nomination fee and Expression of Interest form worth N22 million.
Jonathan, who is to run for re-election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), thanked all those groups and individuals who rendered their financial support and expressed his great excitement over the matter.
