Suspected Cultists Kill 3rd Year Student At UNIBEN

A 300-level student of the Department of Chemistry, University of Benin (Uniben), Mr Gendedio Ejyrognene has been killed by suspected cultists.

According to reports, the Uniben student was shot dead at about 7pm on Friday night.
The gruesome murder of the student was confirmed by University Deputy Registrar/ Public Relations Officer, Harris Osaze Osarenren,.
He said that the university authorities and the police were investigating the incident.
A statement by the university authorities revealed that the deceased’s body had been deposited at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital mortuary.
