Her Majesty is definitely a trend setter as she becomes the first ever reigning monarch of England to send a tweet.
She
made twitter history at the opening of an information technology
gallery at the London Science Museum and this was witness by about 600
guests celebrating the history of communications technology. The account
which was activated in 2009 and is run by her Majesty’s royal aides
before today that is. The tweet which was sent by 10:35 GMT has over
15,000 retweets so far.
It is a pleasure to open the
Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people
