Hope Akpan will also be sidelined from playing at the new Akwa Ibom International Stadium with a dislocated shoulder.
The Reading midfielder landed badly after challenging for an aerial ball during Saturday’s victory.
Akpan who was earlier feared not be fit in time for the faceoff with South Africa due to be played in his hometown, has received a boost ahead of the match as X-Rays showed he only dislocated his shoulder rather than fracture, his recovery is however expected to be sooner than earlier feared.
