Buhari Expresses Joy Over Being Endorsed By Obasanjo

APC presidential candidate Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN yesterday evening, reacted to former president Obasanjo publicly endorsing him. He said

“I am happy about it. It means more supporters and more confidence for those still sitting on the fence. He’s well respected. No serious issue can happen (in Nigeria) without people seeking his opinion and listening to it”

Obasanjo earlier made statements that he will be supporting the APC presidential candidate despite being a former PDP member himself.
