This Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba, gave the assurance when he hosted a high-powered European Union (EU) delegation, led by its chief observer, Santiago Fisas.
According to him, the Force would utilise the six weeks extension in election date, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to advance its strategies and material requirement.
Speaking earlier, the EU chief observer, Fisas, had earlier saluted the high level of professionalism of the Nigeria Police and urged them to provide a secured environment for a successful general election.
