The group, while congratulating the President-elect, described the election as the freest, fairest and most credible in the history of the country.
A statement by the spokesman of the body, Mr. Marcus Ekure, described the President-elect as an exemplary leader with exceptional qualities, impeccable pedigree and antecedence.
Ekure equally lauded the statesmanship of President Goodluck Jonathan, saying it takes a selfless and visionary leader to concede defeat, especially in Africa.
He, however, recommended that Jonathan be considered for a Nobel Laureate award and a lifetime ambassador of the United Nations and African Union for accepting defeat without grudges.
