“I have advised all my commissioners to keep all their flimsy notes and ensure that the records are handy. In case they are ask questions by the incoming administration, they should be ready to provide answers.
“For me, I have all my records and I am prepared to answer any question. I said even in my dream, if you ask me the right questions, I will give you the right answers. But if you ask me questions thinking you want to disgrace me, you will end up disgracing yourself.
“We are ready for any question that maybe asked, either by the way we spent our money or by the way we did certain things.
“Yes mistake may have been done, but I have asked every ministry and every commissioner and every parastatal to be prepared. There are ways to correct mistakes, if you mistake without telling us or chop without our knowledge and they call you, don’t ask me for answer, you question yourself”, Aliyu warned his aides.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Lands and Housing in the state, Dr. Peter Sarki, said the 37 units in the legislative quarters were constructed in phases at a cost of N1.74 billion.
He added that contracts for road construction within the estate and other infrastructure were terminated due to poor performance of the contractors.
