Fenerbahce step up RVP interest

Fenerbahce are stepping up their bid to land Robin van Persie.
The Manchester United striker is set for the exit door at Old Trafford this summer with a year to run on his contract.
Turkish champions Galatasaray and Italian arch-rivals Roma and Lazio and have already bowed out of the running for Holland international Van Persie - who turns 32 in August - because of his £10million-a-year wages.

But the former Arsenal star remains in the sights of Fenerbahce, who finished second behind bitter enemies Galatasaray last season and are looking for the firepower to put them on top in the new campaign.
We revealed earlier this month that United could be forced to subsidise Van Persie’s wages in order to move him on as manager Louis van Gaal looks to revamp his forward line.

Red Devils move for Sergio Ramos?

Questioned: The Reds have asked about Sergio Ramos
Sergio Ramos' Real Madrid future is hanging in the balance and Manchester United could use David de Gea as leverage to bring the Spain defender to Old Trafford.
The centre-back, 29, is said to be unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu and wants to leave the club this summer.
Ramos, who has spent 10 years with the 10-time European champions, has two years left on his contract, but has seen talks over a new deal stall.
Los Blancos are keen on bringing De Gea back to La Liga this summer, and have already seen a £13million deal turned down for the keeper, who is heading into the last 12 months of his deal at Old Trafford.

As well as Robin van Persie, Fenerbahce are also in the market for United's out-of-favour Portuguese winger Nani.
His international team-mate Manuel Fernandes has told the Turkish press that Nani has 'already made his mind up' about his next move.
He said: "He [Nani] has asked me questions about Istanbul.
"I explained to him the pros and cons about moving to Istanbul. He has already made up his mind, however, it is up to him to unveil his next step."
