Demi Moore has broken her silence after a 21-year-old man was found dead early Sunday morning after having drowned in her swimming pool. The actress says she’s in “shock” and that her “heart goes out” to the young man’s loved ones after this “unthinkable tragedy.”
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, neither Moore nor her three daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah were at home when the incident occurred. Apparently, however, an employee of the actress had some people over for a small pool party. We’re told the deceased, identified as Edenilson Steven Valle, accidentally slipped and fell into the pool, and drowned because he didn’t know how to swim and no one was around at the time to save him.Gossip Cop is told that it simply was a terrible tragedy and the police do not suspect foul play.
In a statement furnished to Gossip Cop, Moore said, “I am in absolute shock. I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news.” She added, “The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man’s family and friends.” Moore further asked that everyone “please respect the privacy of all concerned during this sensitive time.”
