Jeremy Renner did NOT kick his best friendKristoffer Winters out of his home because the actor’s tired of gay rumors, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor. We’re told the entire story is untrue.
According to Star, Renner has been “shacking up” with Winters for the past 10 years, but recently decided that it was time for his friend to move out because of the constant false rumors alleging the star is gay. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “He says the gay rumors don’t bother him, but they absolutely do and he doesn’t want it affecting his career.” The supposed “insider” further adds, “Kris is hurt by his decision because he’s been defending him so profusely — he never thought Jeremy would turn his back on him.”
There’s one slight problem with the tabloid’s report. It’s 100 percent wrong. A rep for Renner exclusively tells Gossip Cop the Star story is “completely untrue and ridiculous,” noting that Winters “never moved in to [Renner’s] new home. He had his own home.”
It comes as no surprise to Gossip Cop that the magazine is so off-base. Gossip Cop has busted the tabloid several times for fabricating tales about the actor, including a recent inaccurate report that alleged Renner was secretly dating his Avengers co-star Elizabeth Olsen.
