ALGIERS- Tunisian Secretary of State to Minister of Social Affairs in charge of the martyrs and wounded of the revolution Majdouline Cherni broached Thursday the possibility to decide on a joint plan of action between Algeria and Tunisia in terms of supporting the families of martyrs, mujahedeen (war veterans) and rights’ holders.
Tunisia is “anxious to benefit from the Algeria’s unique experience in supporting the families of martyrs, mujahedeen and rights’ holders,” said the Tunisian official at the end of her talks with Minister of Mujahedeen Tayeb Zitouni, broaching the possibility to decide on a joint plan of action in this field.
Expressing her “gratitude” for the welcome she received during her visit to Algeria, Cherni hailed the “the efforts deployed by the Algerian State, particularly President of the Republic, in terms of supporting the families of martyrs, mujahedeen and rights’ holders.”
For his part, Zitouni reiterated Algeria’s “determination” to deepen the bilateral cooperation, particularly in matters of supporting mujahedeen, hailing the relations linking the two “brotherly countries.”
