Careful, Kim Kardashian!
The 34-year-old reality star, who is pregnant with her second child with Kanye West, 38, received a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration, after an Instagram post she made last week appeared to promote the morning sickness medication, Diclegis.
In the since deleted post (although the tweet linking to it
remains, for now) Kim wrote, "OMG. Have you heard about this? As you guys know my #morningsickness has been pretty bad, so I talked to my doctor. He prescribed me #Diclegis, I felt a lot better and most importantly, it's been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby."
"I'm so excited and happy with the results that I'm partnering with Duchesnay USA to raise awareness about treating morning sickness," she continued.
Kim's rep confirms the reality star wrote the post with the drug company, Duchesnay, which they signed off on. In a letter obtained by ET, the FDA calls Kim's post "false or misleading," adding that it "fails to communicate any risk information associated with its use and it omits material facts."
