Rosie Perez Did NOT Quit ‘The View,’ Despite Report

Rosie Perez Quit The View
(Perez Hilton)
Rosie Perez did not quit “The View” after Kelly Osbourne’s offensive remark, despite the latest inaccurate report from Perez HiltonGossip Copcan exclusively correct the misguided blogger’s story. We’re told by a show insider that it’s “laughably false.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Osbourne set off a firestorm a week ago when, commenting on Donald Trump’s recent remarks about illegal Mexican immigrants, she said, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet Donald Trump?”

According to Perez Hilton, Rosie was “forced to be nice to Kelly by the show’s execs” and made to tweet an apology to Osbourne after the show that read, “I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You’re heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you.” The blogger claims “the dispute eventually sparked a screaming match with the producers, and Rosie ended up quitting the remainder of Season 18!”
While Rosie was fully right to be upset by the comment, she was not “forced” to apologize to Osbourne and most certainly did NOT quit over it, Gossip Cop has learned. In fact, a source on the show tells Gossip Cop, right after the taping, Rosie went to Osbourne’s dressing room and comforted the young reality star for her dreadfully wrong remark.
But here’s the real proof that Rosie did not quit. After Osbourne’s show, Rosie didn’t just storm off, as Perez would like readers to believe. The actress, who’s contract wasn’t renewed for next season, sat down and taped the season’s final show in which, we’re told, she gave a “gracious and heartfelt goodbye” to her co-hosts on “The View.”
The season’s final show airs on Friday. Tune into it and see for yourself how Rosie Perez says goodbye, as opposed to “quitting” and never coming back, which Perez wrongly reported.
