Empire season one was one of the biggest shows this year and it gave us one of the strongest black women in TV history.
And after it made its debut, magazine covers were snatched, record deals were signed and social media followership basically went up a notch. A show with an all black cast had come and it was putting African American art on the map.
However, all of the charm seems to be fading out as the show has been going south in ratings since its season two premiere.
Last week, 50 Cent posted a picture of a report of the show losing its ratings, mocking it and telling Taraji P Henson to come beg him to help them.
And this week, the show clearly could not get its groove back.
Fans seem to be disappointed in the direction the show is headed.
