5 EVENTS YOU MUST NOT MISS THIS DECEMBER

Mavins IMG_4761December is here again! Christmas is around the corner.
This is the month where we usually let off the steam of 11 months work, the month where daddy finally gets to take the kids out for events and all the money made gets to be spent.
Are you in search of a top event to attend, where you can meet your favorite artists and dance to your favorite songs.
Here are the Top 5 selected events that you should attend this Yuletide period.

  1. Rhythm Unplugged – This is one of the biggest annual concerts in the country as it parades the best of stars. The event which is in its 11th edition will hold on the 18th of this month at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel serving as the curtain raiser for other events this year. This year’s event will have as special guest appearance, American singing sensation Trey Songz and will be hosted by the duo of Basketmouth and Bovi.
  2. Soundcity Urban Blast Festival – Also holding on the night of Friday the 18th of December is the SoundCity Urban festival, an event billed as the biggest live TV performance in the nation as the proceedings will be beamed live on the Urban channel across the world. The event is billed to hold at the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru, Lekki, Lagos and would parade the likes of Kiss Daniel, Reminisce, Davido, Iyanya and the likes, doors open at 6pm.
  3. Access Mavins Concerts – This is Mavins first official December event as the Mavin family seeks to tell their fans ‘Thank You’ with a major concert in partnership with Access Bank. The event is billed to hold on Wednesday, December 23rd at the Eko Atlantic and the best part is with your PayWithCapture app, tickets are available at N499.
  4. Olamide Live in Concert – The 2nd edition of ‘Olamide Live in Concert’ is billed to hold on December 27th at the Eko Hotel barring any last minute cancellation following the loss of his father. OLIC1 was a success and with Olamide having an even bigger 2015, a lot of people are looking forward to this year’s edition.
  5. Koko Concert – After a two years break, Banga Lee recently announced the return of his Koko Concert, the event is billed to hold around 5 cities within the country from December 5th – 29, with the grand finale holding in Lagos on the 29th. Venue is yet to be named but more details should be rolled out in the coming days, hopefully there will definitely be no trekking this time around.
