Photos:Port Harcourt comes alive, as #TheSpecialOne visits the garden city

Following weeks of suspense and anticipation to meet #thespecialone, Port Harcourt came alive on Friday, December 4, 2015 when the iconic beer, Guinness, unveiled its latest offering, Guinness Africa Special.

The event which held at Aztech Arcum events centre was an evening of fun and great excitement. It was hosted by popular comedian, Dan D Humorous, with DJ Spinall bringing down the roof with his energetic line up.

Guinness Made of Black Ambassadors, Olamide and Phyno kept the crowd of over 2,000 guests in attendance yearning for more and Godwin Strings, graffiti artist Osa7 and DNMT added creativity and colour to the event. They were joined by great local acts Knowledge, Young Stunnah and Dannas.

The highpoint of the event was the grand unveil which was done amidst heavy glamour and heart stopping pyrotechnics carefully planned out with lights and colours which was followed by epic performances.

Party goers of Port Harcourt also got a chance to make the night their own with an instant t-shirt making experience and UV body painting. It was certainly a night alive and full of colour, creativity and energy!!

New Guinness Africa Special has been made by us and for us. This one is ours. The natural herbs and spices including ginger were grown on our African soil. Young Nigerians and African designers designed the packaging, Osa7 designed the advertising creative. The Ankara harp and pattern on the packaging proudly projects our African routes and creative spirit!
