On Friday morning in Biliri local government area of Gombe State, a suspected male suicide bomber dressed in female attire with suicide vest strapped over his waist was apprehended
A male in his late twenties, dressed like a woman, with neatly plaited hair made to look as though ‘’she’’ was attending the Christmas church service was attempting to blow up a Catholic church where Christmas service was ongoing, but was arrested by some vigilante Muslim youth who were guarding the church.
If not for the vigilance of some youths around the church who noticed the strange movement of the bomber, it would have been a black Christmas today in Gombe as the church was filled to capacity as at the time of the incident.
