Transparency International, a non-governmental organization that fights
against corruption, reported via their Twitter account on Friday that
Nigeria’s political parties are perceived as the most corrupt in the
world with the top position of 94%. The report in an index form
presented in horizontal bar chart showed Nigeria ranked number 1 with
94%. This was followed closely by Mexico and Cyprus at 91%. Nepal and
Greece were two tiers down at 90%.
The corruption perception index was collated on how the respondents in their domicile country perceived their political parties in their inclination for graft. The latest index was illustrated in the graph below by Transparency International: |
