Majority of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters believe that the PDP will not break due to the crisis rocking the party currently.
There is no gain saying the the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), once touted as the largest and biggest
party in Africa is going through a lot of crisis which culminated in the
party losing grips at the federal level with the opposition All
Progressive Congress (APC), triumphing at the March 28 presidential
election.
The PDP also lost many of its stronghold in some states, couple with a mass defection of its members to the APC.
The crisis engulfing that party has seen its national Chairman, Adamu Muazu, as well as the Board of Trustee Chairman, Tony Anenih, resigning from their positions.
This
has made many believe that the party is doomed for an imminent collapse
though its leadership think the troubles within the party will only
make it stronger and reposition it for future elections.
On Pulse Nigeria Poll, this poser was put up for vote:
Do you think the crisis in the PDP could lead to the collapse of the party?
Majority
of the voters are of the belief that the party will not collapse as the
crisis will make it stronger. 71 percent of voters toe this line while
29 percent think the party will break down.
How Nigeria voted:
29 % - Yes, the party is on the verge of a break up
71 % - No, the crisis will make the party stronger
Where does your vote lie?
Adamu Muazu
