A famous video which featured Nigeria’s First Lady, Patience Jonathan has been named by Google as the country’s most watched non-music clip on YouTube.
The “There is God” video, which shows a weeping Mrs Jonathan, was published in 2014.
The
First Lady broke down in tears during a meeting about the abduction of
over 200 girls from a school in Chibok, Borno State, and the entire
episode was caught on film.
In between sobs, Mrs Jonathan could be heard saying “there is God o, there is God o, God…o….Chai, there is God o.”
The video subsequently went viral and was parodied by persons in Nigeria and even some abroad.
The Chibok girls were abducted on April 14, 2014, and most of them remain in captivity.
