Everton Manager, Martinez Slams Chelsea Players

Everton Manager, Roberto Martinez has expressed his disdain to the Chelsea players, following Gareth Barry’s sending off that handed Chelsea a late winner afterwards.

Willian’s late winner came after Gareth Barry was sent off, and a scuffle ensued amongst both set-of- players; with Branislav Ivanovic evading a sending off when he had Everton’s James McCarthy on choke-hold.
“It’s very clear that what the home team are trying to do is influence the referee,” Martinez told BBC Sport.
“To give Barry a second yellow just because of the reaction of the Chelsea players, that is disappointing,” he said.

“You don’t want to believe that that decision is given because of the reaction of the players. It’s something that we constantly see here. We have to allow the authorities to look into it.

Did Ivanovic bite James McCarthy

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho walked out of a post-match interview after he was asked about the behavior of his players.
