Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers in the
House of Representatives have given President Goodluck Jonathan fresh
conditions if he wants their support in the March 28 presidential
election, reports
The lawmakers tabled the new set of demands during a no-holds-barred meeting called by the President at the Presidential Villa, on Sunday.
Among other conditions, the lawmakers want the immediate refund of the campaign funds expended by the members who were denied tickets by their state governors, after paying for the party tickets and mobilising their supporters for the controversial primaries.
They are also insisting that the President should urgently intervene by directing the party to take over the campaign sponsorship of those who emerged as candidates of the party in the general elections.
No fewer than 104 PDP lawmakers attended the crucial meeting.
