Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner met for the first time since latter’s transition to a woman to work out some issues between them, Gossip Cop confirms. Caitlyn’s rep tells us the meeting happened on Tuesday at her Malibu home. We hear from other sources that things got a little emotional for both women, but they were able to work out their differences in the end.
The tension between Kris and her former spouse seemingly started shortly after
Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair interview, in which the former Olympian was very candid about her marriage to Kris. Caitlyn said in the interview that there were times when Kris “wasn’t very nice.” While Kris never commented on the article, she did say Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover was “beautiful.” For her part, Kris also had a few choice words about her 23-year marriage in an extended portion of the Vanity Fair interview, having accused Caitlyn of never telling her the full truth about wanting to become a woman.
Despite the initial discord between the two, in June Caitlyn reached out to Kris on Twitter, writing, “Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!” Kris has stayed relatively silent about Caityn, as Gossip Cop mentioned, except for making a few short remarks about her. Still, we’re told Kris and Caitlyn met earlier this week to smooth everything out between them. It’s unclear whether the meeting was filmed for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” or Caitlyn’s docuseries “I Am Cait.”
