Zayn Malik announced on Wednesday that he signed a deal with RCA Records to launch his solo career, and now One Direction fans are reacting to the news. As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Malik dropped the news on Twitter, writing in a series of tweets “I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA!!” He added, “#realme.”
Shortly after his announcement, the Twitter hashtag “#realmusic” started to trend with hundreds of fans commenting on Malik’s big news.
Twitter user Cuddlyxharold wrote, “I’M SO PROUD LIKE I CAN’T EVEN TELL YOU HOW PROUD I AM IN 140 CHARACTERS #realmusic.” Another fan named AsmaLoves1D tweeted, “Actually proud of @zaynmalik People need to accept him for real, like he’s happy and he’s himself and that’s all that matters. #realmusic.” And Fizza_pti posted, “I guess its officially two directions now, isn’t it? But they’re happy so we should be happy too. #realmusic.”
