Kahiya is a career journalist and media trainer who has been with AMH since 1997. He joined the company as a reporter for the Zimbabwe Independent.

He was appointed Editor of the Zimbabwe Independent in 2004 before he was assigned to lead the team which founded NewsDay in 2010. Kahiya was subsequently appointed group Editor-In-Chief, a position he has held until this appointment.
Maukazuva, who is the Group Technology Director for AMH and Mail&Guardian Media Ltd, will assume the position of Chief Operating Officer in addition to his current position. He joined AMH as Chief Technology Officer in April 2013.
In January 2014, Maukuzuva was elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer before his assignment to the group as Technology Director in April 2015. Maukuzuva has a wealth of business, managerial and international experience in telecoms, media and technologies.
AMH has also appointed Nancy Ziyambi as Head of Marketing and Communications. Ziyambi, who joined the media group last month, is a seasoned marketer with over 15 years’ experience at executive level spanning broadcasting, marketing and advertising.
She will oversee the full commercial portfolio of AMH, inclusive of print advertising for NewsDay, Zimbabwe Independent and The Standard as well as online/digital advertising and events. Ziyambi has also worked in South Africa and Zambia.
