Bedoui calls on citizens to support efforts of military, civil institutions to preserve security
GHARDAIA- Minister of Interior and Local Authorities Noureddine Bedoui called on Tuesday in Ghardaia the citizens to support the “significant efforts” of the military and civil institutions to preserve security and stability.

“The significant efforts made by the military and civil institutions to ensure security and stability in accordance with the firm directives of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika must be supported by the citizens in favour of solidarity, cohesion and rejection of  discord,” said Bedoui in a speech following the installation of the new governor of Ghardaia Azzedine Mecheri.
After hailing the significant efforts of the People’s National Army and other security bodies in defending borders and fighting criminality, the minister underlined that the major challenges facing Algeria at all levels particularly in security “require from all the components of the Algerian people to preserve the gains achieved by the Charter for peace and national reconciliation.”
The Charter for peace and national reconciliation is the “greatest project of Algeria the independent because of the values of cohesion, tolerance and national unity it includes,” said the minister.
He added that this “situation requires also the solidarity between the citizens and the continuation of the steps aimed at preserving the security, stability and national unity that we must place above any other considerations.”
