ALGIERS- Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Mohamed Aissa Saturday called on members of the Hajj 2015 mission to fully assume their responsibility towards the Algerian Hajjis.
Chairing the opening of a training workshop for the mission members, Aissa urged the members of the mission to "take full responsibility in taking care of hajjis".
Aissa stressed the importance of implementing the "roadmap to accompany the Algerian Hajjis during their stay in holy places".
"Failure in this mission is likely to harm the image of Algeria, which is unacceptable in view of the efforts made by the State to ensure the best conditions to Algerian Hajjis," he insisted.
For the first time, the hajjis can learn the place of their residence before leaving to the Holy Places.
All the buildings that will host the Algerian Hajjis are close to the mosque of Mecca, said Aissa.
A team of 4 members (2 elements of civil protection, a doctor and a Mourchid) will oversee each trip.
