ALGIERS-Minister of Religious Affairs Mohamed Aissa stressed Sunday the Hajj season of this year will be marked by new measures to ensure pleasant stay to Algerian hajjis.
The minister, who was guest of the "Daif Essabah" program on the National Radio, said that "one-of-a-kind" measures will be taken during the period of Hajj this year allowing Algerian Hajjis to know the building and the room number where they will reside on the website dedicated to the Hajj 2015.
The hajji may, via the website, have a "clear picture" of the room and the number of beds, the minister added, stating that the "Hajji will be housed in buildings near the mosque of Mecca."
For AĂ¯ssa, the difficulties encountered by hajjis are due to a "conflict of responsibility."
In order to avoid problems with Hajjis, the Minister said "each group of hajjis will be accompanied by four supervisors, two elements of Civil Protection, a doctor and a guide."
The training organized for members of the Hajj mission and supervisors will be completed Monday, said the minister.
Hajj 2015 will be supervised by 45 tourist agencies including two public ones, said the minister recalling that the number of hajjis is expected to increase as from next year to reach 40,000.
AĂ¯ssa, in this regard, warned travel agencies not to fail to fulfil their commitments vis-Ă -vis the hajjis, stating that there are penalties for non-compliance to the book of specifications.
