Mat Franco returned to “America’s Got Talent” on Wednesday, less than a year after winning the NBC competition. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Franco became the series’ first magician to ever win when he was voted America’s best talent at the end of season 9 last September. He won a $1 million prize, as well as his own headlining show in Las Vegas. Franco’s gig at the LINQ Hotel and Casino began earlier this month, and he’ll have his own NBC special, “Mat Franco’s Got Magic,” on September 17, exactly a year after his victory..
Franco was a favorite among the judges all last year for his amazing magic tricks. Naturally, he had a new one share when he took the stage at Radio City Music Hall during the first live results show of season 10. Franco began by saying he wanted to toast to the show’s 10th anniversary, and he then managed to make multiple bottles of wine appear out of seemingly nowhere.
Not surprisingly, the judges were once again blow away, and gave Franco a standing ovation. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Piff The Magic Dragon is the major magic act in this year’s competition. And although he had the panel divided on Tuesday, he found out during the results that he received enough votes to make the semifinals. Watch video of Franco’s return performance below!
