CAIRO- Minister for Maghreb, African Union and Arab League Affairs Abdelkader Messahel reiterated Wednesday, in Cairo, the solidarity of Algeria with the Palestinian people and its condemnation of the Israeli aggressions against The Palestinian people.
Speaking at the meeting of the ministerial committee of the Arab Peace Initiative in the Middle East, Messahel reaffirmed “Algeria’s solidarity with the brave Palestinian people, reiterating its condemnation of these aggressions perpetrated by the Israeli authorities against the defenceless Palestinians where infants were not spared.”
He also extended his “sincere condolences” to the family of the Palestinian toddler Ali Dawabcheh and families of all the Palestinian martyrs.
The minister also reiterated “Algeria’s principled and inalienable position regarding the Palestinian cause and its full commitment to the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights for the establishment of an independent State with al-Quds as a capital.”
Messahel called on the Palestinian parties to strengthen their ranks for a national consensus that will allow them “to address the challenges facing the Palestinian cause.”
